A fun climb with good pro.  Very good for developing your trad sense, with a little bit of route finding involved and a couple of committing moves.

Awkward start that angles right. A move back left to undercling at roof and crux leads to easier but fun climbing to the anchors.

This was a toprope climb for 31 years but has since been bolted as a sport climb.  It is located left of Makin' Muffins and Grab 'em in the Biscuits.  Anchors are easily accessed by walking out the top of North Fin.  Starts up slightly overhanging arete and out onto thin face.  Gets shade most of the day.

Look for a line of bolts around the middle of the back wall of Swim Fin.  It starts to the right and uphill of an obvious lieback flake.  Follow the bolts.  Thin crimpy hands and odd body positions make this a sustained route worthy of its name--do not try it unless you are solid in the grade.

Starts from oak tree that forms a step.  Works up and left into and up chimney then moves out of chimney and on to the face.  Easier face climbing leads to great moves over a roof.  Airy climbing leads to a final thin section below the anchors.

Look for a pair of bolted lines on the left side of a chimney on the Blazing Fin.  Grab em in Da Biscuits is the left hand line.  Stick to the left and follow the bolts to the chains.  Crux is at a roof/bulge a little less than half way up.  Lower/Rap down the face to avoid a serious pendulum.

P1: Climb the dihedral and cracks up to a low angle ramp, belay at the base of the ramp(how it is done most often, possibly) or about midway up the ramp(I recommend, risk drag though), or go all the way to the slab up top with a small crack for nuts(no drag here, but might have issues wth the p1 follow belay). About 5.8 I would say, but very short crux. This is a fun pitch, and you can walk off it "crag left" back to the base of Swim Fin. 

  P2: Lots of variations. Go straight up above the small vertical crack(No protection?) at the top of the slab, or traverse left about 20 ft on shelf into another crack, good pro, but some runout midway on the face. 5.5 - 5.6 range. 

  This is a good route to do if you want to try runout, but on ultra easy climbing. 

  I recommend the left 2nd pitch. 

  I think you can walk off by jumping the chasm and heading Northish? Or just get on the obviously visible set of chains and rap down. 

  I think this route has been seeing some traffic lately. It is not spectacular, but fun climbing and worth doing if you are into moderate trad and easy runout. 

  I lean to calling it PG13 on this site because of the runout on the ramp and on the 2nd pitch. Either way it is 5.7/8 and 5.5/6R. Although falling should be unlikely, it would be nasty.

For those masochists out there, try this fine squeeze chimney that starts half way up the face between the sport routes Fashionably Late and Party Poopers.  Thinking it only 5.6, I third classed it to set up a top rope for Fashionably and had a bona fide panic attack when I wormed into the chimney and my love of beer became a problem. Haven't felt that type of despair since I tried and gave up spelunking decades ago (what a hideous sport). Gets one star (and the grade given here) in SQLIII, so that works to two stars on MP, right? PS, clipping any of the bolts on the sport route is cheating.

Look for a pair of bolted lines on the left side of a chimney on the Blazing Fin.  Makin Muffins is the right hand line.  Stick to the right and follow the bolts to the chains.  Fun route with interesting moves.

This climb is on the west side of Swim Fin, facing the Mean Mistreater wall.  Obvious bolt line up the tower with a small roof about half way up.

This line lies just left of 96 Degrees in the Shade on the same pillar feature. Start up the juggy arete with your feet on the slab to reach the first bolt at 15 feet. After clipping, cast off onto the face. Surf right to a decent knob and prepare for the crux between bolts two and three. Grab the Terre de Siene crimp and move through the thin thin with deadpoints and lockoffs, staying on the line of crimps and avoiding moving right until a jug just above the third bolt is reached. Rest up and then bust back left through slightly easier, though highly intricate, moves past two more bolts to the break. From here, blast up through hero jugs to 96 Degrees' original two bolt anchor. 

  This route is contrived, as the much larger holds on 96 Degrees remain technically within reach through most of the climb. However, the line flows naturally up a completely independent line of holds. Only one is shared between the two: the jug right of the third bolt (left of the fifth bolt on 96 Degrees, I think). You will be on route if you remain left of the faint seam splitting the face for the duration.

Climb easy rock up and left until possible to move right into the corner crack system. Great first lead for a sport or trad climber too as you can back everything up with a long sling on the bolts. Layback or stem the crux.

This route is located between Grab em in da Biscuits and 96 Degrees in the Shade. Start on the overhanging wall left of Grab em in da Biscuits. Climb up some sharp crimps past three bolts and finish on Grab em in da Biscuits.

This climb was put up just after the new SQ III came out. This steep climb moves up and left. A few missed holds can make it very difficult and they are hard to see at when battling for the onsight.

Fairly sustained with some nice stemming off the ledge and a committing move on to the tower that Party Pooters is on.

Swim Fin is a popular rock due to its accessibility and the high concentration of moderate climbs in this immediate area.  Shade can usually be found on one side of the rock, depending on time of day and season.  Certainly a full day can be had in this area, though some of it may be spent waiting in line. 

  The most recommendable route on Swim Fin is Ego Donor(5.9), a clip-up on the back side, facing Blazing Fin.  It is sustained and fun...an honest-to-goodness 5.9!
