The second route you encounter as you enter the corridor, 10 feet left and uphill from Right Side of the Tracks. Follows an edgy face to small ledges, a very short crack and face above. Crux down low. First eyed by Joe Shiefman, he couldn't join us for the final send.

Platform 9 3/4

10 feet right of Gravy Train, this route follows a short ramp system right, then directly up past an obvious crux followed by easier ground. Crux might be a bit height dependent, and a bit harder if you are under 5'6" or so. The anchor is located above and slightly right of the last bolt. If you don't see it, continue up and slightly right to an obvious small ledge system.  

Not much to look at but it is really pretty good. Good moderate sections and technical balance cruxes with the hardest being near the top. Once past the bulge work left to avoid the grungy plant covered ledge.

Climbs the face and short crack 20 feet to the right and uphill of Derailed. Climb past 6 bolts up to a sloping ledge, then 2 more bolts to the anchor.  

This is a well protected mostly 5.9- to 5.10- trad line with bomber gear. A bolt protects the wide section at the end of the first crack as well as the crux roof. The rock is is a little gritty under the roof and the bolts reduce rope drag and any nervousness about the rock. Mount Lemmon is not noted for it's good cracks but this is one that allows you to place cams and believe in them. I wish it was more sustained but the rock gives what it has.

This route has two distinct cruxes, a bulge down low (the engine), and a final bulge just before the anchor (the caboose), with more moderate climbing between the cruxes. 

Fun, steep climbing up a corner system and the face above. Thoughtful climbing in the upper corner, with holds appearing just as you need them. Exit the corner to the right, then head up and slightly left out steep ground thru the crux; finally straight up to the anchor.

Fun stemming up a chimney then pull on to the face at about bolt 4. Wander up the face until you can climb steeper rock to the anchors. Stay right near the anchors to keep it in the grade. This route was done by me Felix who is 16 and Aiden who is 9. These guys were focused and worked hard all day. Super fun.

Follows slightly overhanging rock and continuous climbing past some tricky thin moves, and then thru good holds and a crux sequence near the top. Fun and sustained, with a couple OK rests.  

This is a short (5 bolt) route that is the first route you will encounter upon entering the corridor. Short, but steep fun climbing on good edges and small crimps. 

Follows the steep arete for a few moves, then a seam/weakness right of Swedish Express. Fun and tricky boulder problem start, then steep crimps and side pulls up the weakness to a bulge at the 5th bolt. Pretty continuous Lemmon crimping until past the 5th bolt, then it eases for the last 15 feet. Second clip can be difficult, and some may want to stick clip the second bolt from the ground (easily done, as the  bolts are closely spaced).  

Start off a boulder about 20 feet left and uphill from the toe of the crag. Follow bolts up and right, past a bulge down low, and continuing up and right to the anchor. Pretty good route for a new or inexperienced leader. You will pass the anchor for Platform 9 3/4 (on your right) about half way up. Continue up to the anchor above, which is shared with Train Wreck.  

Follows a small left facing corner, then a weakness/seam up the center of the corridor wall. Interesting technical climbing on good rock, easing as you get higher.

This is the highest, left most route in the corridor at the left of the crag. It follows a seam and intermittent crack/corner system. The route includes some face climbing, a few crack moves, and even a few chimney moves, if you choose. Short crux early in the route, then easier above. Shares the last bolt and anchor with Gravy Train.  10 bolts total, plus anchors.

Goes straight up from the toe of the Train Station. Surmounts a short bulge, then up to anchors at the midway point on the wall. Some choss below the first bolt, but the rock improves quickly. Not the best route on the wall, but worth doing if you're here.  It's possible to continue past the anchor and go up to the higher anchor that is shared by All Aboard and Train Wreck.  

This nice crag just west (right) of Choo Choo Rock has a good selection of routes from 5.7 to 5.11. Most are bolt protected and all have lower off anchors. The crag faces west and northwest. Routes on the right of the crag are shady in the morning and will get sun by mid-day. Routes in the corridor (at the left end of the crag) are shady until mid-afternoon. The corridor between Choo Choo Rock and the Train Station has good quality rock and some good routes. There are also new routes on Choo Choo Rock that are adjacent to the Train Station and easily climbed on the same outing.
