Sit start at the base of the arete. Find some starting hands, and crank yourself off the ground. Finish with nice and easy moves to the top.

North Side Variations

Sit start and match on the obvious jug rail. Crank yourself off the ground, improve your feet, and find a way to gain the shelf to your left. 

Sit start, match your hands on the obvious starting jug, and find some foot holds. Crank yourself off the ground, and throw your left hand up to a jug (crux). Head straight up the overhang following the path of least resistance to the top.

Flaring Corner is my favorite problem on this boulder.Sit start at the inside base of the flaring corner with your left hand high to the left and your right hand on the right side arete. Find some starting feet (hint: look for a heel hook), and then crank to get yourself established in the flaring corner (crux). Once established in the corner, find the exit jugs above your head, and head straight to the top. Depending on how you climb it, you can use some really fun corner climbing techniques to get yourself established in the corner (hip scumming, leg bars, heel / toe jams, etc).

The north side of the boulder has lots of fun easy variations. 

The Woodland Road Boulder is a decent-sized boulder just off the road in the Middlesex Fells. It has flat landings, easy downclimbs, and all low cruxes. So it's a great option for a quick solo session or for introducing new folks to bouldering outdoors.
